Aminotrimethylene phosphonic acid, a chemical substance with the molecular formula C₃H₁₂NO₉P₃. Solid aminotrimethylene phosphonic acid is readily soluble in water, with a melting point above 195°C and a decomposition temperature of 200–212°C. The liquid product is also easily soluble in water. It is one of the commonly used organic phosphonic acids and is most effective in inhibiting calcium carbonate scale. It exhibits good corrosion inhibition performance when used at high concentrations.
